WHATS UP WITH THE WARRIORS. <EM> The warriors Disgrace.

What is the problem?

Any number of things can be said to be a contributing factor to the Warriors Woeful season, and one of professionalism is definately a part of it. While People believe that once you are a professional sportsman you automatically play to your potential every week. But that just is not the case. Aswell as giving you time to train it also adds presure, and turns a game that was played for injoyment into a job. I believe that this is what has Been a factor in the performance of the Warriors, as professioanlism and the need and pressure put on the players to win has contributed to them playing a different game than what they would under different circumstances. As is seen when they play for NewZealand where they are playing for honor rather than for their future and automatically play with a greater passion for the game as it is ultimately enjoyment that they get from those matches.

Why these factors?

Player Quality
In honest terms the Warriors have little depth amoung their ranks. They have few proven players and are recognised only for having members in a NewZealand side that has not defeated Australia in years.
Coaching Staff
The coaching staff of the Warriors have been so concerned about developing NewZealand talent that they have forgot about actually winning football and keeping the crowds in their seats. We dont mind having a couple of Aussies in the team if that means victory.
More over a lack of team spirit. There is no doubt that they play hard, but perhaps they play foolish, the unity as a team just does not come through in their performance on field. Of Course Another reason Could Be the jersey, The tongue on the monogram should be changed to the other side. But this year it has been left out all together due to court action from the ARL.

The Warriors have now won only 3 of the past 15 matches going into the WORLD CLUB CHALLENGE.
