The chateau at Blois

Blois chateau

This is, you guessed it, the chateau at Blois. Actually, this is the view from one end of the chateau toward the other across the interior courtyard. This chateau was a hunting lodge for various royal types in olden France. It was vacant most of the time, except for periods when the royal entourage would arrive for visits. They would bring with them their entire household, meaning not only servants, but even furnishings.
